Medal for Strengthening of Brotherhood in Arms
Made of gilded brass. The medal measures 32.05 mm in diameter 37.03 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 16.7 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice overall condition with all details crisp and much gold plating present. The enamels and lacquer are well preserved without repairs. Its reverse shows some corrosion but few traces of wear otherwise. The medal comes with its time period aluminium suspension and correctly folded ribbon.
Increasingly hard to find
The medal was awarded to military personnel, to employees of state security, of internal affairs, and to other citizens of the states participants of the Warsaw Pact, as well as other socialist and other friendly nations.
