Medal for the Defense of Leningrad 

Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’

Made of brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width, 37.67 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.6 grams without its suspension.

In excellent condition with its details perfectly visible and light overall wear. Both sides show few dings and scratches and most of the original luster is still present. The medal comes with a brass suspension and old ribbon. Its connection ring has been cut.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
