Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade
Variation 2 with an U-shaped Eyelet
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.00 mm in width, 37.08 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 16.7 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice condition with light to medium overall wear and a fair amount of the original luster still present. Some of the raised areas like the wreath have their details worn off but most are still visible. The reverse shows less wear with the edges of the lettering still crisp. The medal comes with a time period brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Belgrade between 29 September and 22 October 1944.
