Medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 1b with a separately soldered eyelet and more detailed rays and wreath on its obverse
Made of brass. Measures 32.20 mm in width, 37,79 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.7 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with most details crisp and light overall wear. Both sides show several corrosion spots and small dings and scratches. A good amount of the original luster is still visible and the medal comes with its time period double layer brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
