Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945

Variation 1a with a separately soldered eyelet and the word ‘войне’ on its reverse closer to the curved text ‘Германией’

Made of brass. Measures 32.31 mm in width, 37.66 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension. 

This medal is in excellent, above average condition with its details perfectly visible and most original gold-like luster present. The medal comes with its time period double layer steel suspension.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who were on active service during The Great Patriotic War (Military service of 3 months or civil service of 6 months). Also awarded to some allied forces such as the post 9 September 1944 Bulgarian Armed Forces.
