Made of solid silver. The medal for Combat Merit measures 32.43 mm in diameter and 2.02 mm in thickness at the very edge of the medal. The height of the medal is 37.27 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 16.6 gram.
This original WW2 medal for Combat Merit medal is in nice condition with an attractive dark patina. The higher laying parts on its obverse show medium wear. The red lacquer is all present but partly covered with some dirt. It comes with its time period double layer steel suspension and original ribbon. The connection ring between the medal and suspension has not been cut.
