Medal for the Capture of Vienna

Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet 

Made of brass. Measures 32.47 mm in width, 37.61 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.1 grams without its suspension. 

In great condition with light overall wear. The medal shows relatively few dings and scratches on either side and its details are well defined. Much of the original gold luster is still present and it comes with a brass suspension.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Vienna between 16 March and 13 April 1945.
