Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.10 mm in width, 37.73 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.4 grams without its suspension.
In nice condition with most details perfectly visible and light overall wear. Both sides show few dings and scratches but most gold plating has been worn off. The medal comes with a late soviet aluminium suspension and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.Â
