Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width, 37.68 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.4 grams without its suspension.

In excellent, well above average condition with crisp details and few dings and scratches. Much of the original gold plating is still present and the medal comes with its time period double layer brass suspension and old ribbon.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
