Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyeletĀ
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.08 mm in width, 37.22 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 15.3 grams without its suspension.Ā
This medal is in decent but worn condition. Both sides show several dings, scratches and pitting but a fair amount of details remain visible. The medal comes with a late soviet aluminium suspension and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
