Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.03 mm in width, 37.78 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.
In nice condition with most details still visible and medium overall wear with several dings and scratches. Much of the original gold plating is still present and the medal comes with its time period double layer brass suspension and old ribbon which is incorrectly founded as is often seen with early awardings.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.Â
