Description
Badge for the Battle of Lake Khasan (29 July – 11 August 1938)
Made of gold plated brass and enamels. Measures 39.21 mm in height, 29.40 mm in width and weighs 12.0 grams without its screwplate.
The badge is in excellent condition with all details crisp and light overall wear. Even the higher laying details like those on the soldier’s face are perfectly visible. The enamels are generally well preserved but show a small repair on the bottom left of the ‘6’; barely noticeable with the naked eye. Some of the original gold plating is still present and the badge is accompanied by its correct screwplate.
