Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.33 mm in width, 48.38 mm in height and weighs 23.0 grams without its suspension. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.
In excellent, above average condition with a fair amount of the original gold plating present. The red enamel is well-preserved, free from any chips or flakes, and exhibits only minor dings and scratches. Although it may seem that the small red star on the Spasskaya Tower has sustained damage, it is actually due to sloppy filling at the tips. The elevated sections of its front side still display most details. The order comes with its time period double layer steel suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.

In the combat struggle against the German invaders near the settlement Głowaczów on 14 January 1945, comrade BABANIN exhibited courage and bravery. Acting as a signalling section commander, comrade BABANIN ensured and provided uninterrupted signalling capability between the battery commander and the firing positions. This ensured, that the battery commander could open suppressing fire in proper time and enable advance of our infantry with low casualties. Comrade BABANIN personally 6 times repaired signalling links under enemy artillery barrage. Being wounded, he remained on the battlefield and continued to execute his combat missions. He deserves state award order “GLORY II CLASS”.
