Medal for the 20th Anniversary of the RKKA #27476
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.24 mm in diameter and 35.78 mm in height (including the eyelet). It weighs 23.8 grams without and 28.9 grams with suspension. The rectangular suspension measures 25.07 mm in width at its narrowest point and 31.13 mm at its widest point. Â
In excellent, above average condition with its details well preserved. Even the higher laying parts on its reverse show little wear and the soldier’s eyes, fingers and rifle for example, are all perfectly visible. The suspension and attachment plate (under the red cloth) are original and has all of its 4 ‘teeth’ present. The enamels show some minor dings and scratches which are hard to spot with the naked eye. Its screwplate original as well and is numbered #27474.
A superb piece. Rare as such!
