Early variation with a stamped mint mark
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. It measures 31.02 mm in height including the eyelet and 27.27 mm in width. It weighs 12.1 grams without and 15.9 grams with suspension. This variation has a stamped mint mark and a hand engraved serial number at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse. The suspension is authentic to the medal and measures 25.88 mm in width.
In problem free condition with perfect enamels and its details well preserved. Both sides show few contact marks only and no substantial dings or stretches. Its connection ring between the suspension and the medal has not been cut and the stickpin is fully functional. There have been no repairs and the 4.5 gram 950/1000 gold star is not replaced.
