Variation 2 with 5 rivets
Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 43.46 mm in height, 43.91 mm in width and it weighs 30.6 grams without its suspension. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the center of the reverse.
The order lost its hammer and sickle but is otherwise problem free. The details of the raised parts like the cruiser are perfectly visible and show some small dings and contact marks only. The enamels are beautiful and free from chipping, scratches or repairs. Its reverse is in equally nice condition minor contact marks only. The order comes with its time period double layer suspension and old ribbon and its connection ring has not been cut.
The Order of the October Revolution (Орден Октябрьской Революции) was instituted on October 31, 1967. This was due to the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. It was conferred upon individuals or groups for services furthering communism or the state. As well as for enhancing the defenses of the Soviet Union, military and civil. It is second highest Soviet order, after the Order of Lenin.
