Scarce variation with a stamped mint mark
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. It measures 30.66 mm in height including the eyelet and 26.37 mm in width. It weighs 12.1 gram without and 16.0 gram with suspension. This variation has a stamped mint mark and a hand engraved serial number at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse. The front of the medal shows a solid gold star on a silver background. The suspension is authentic to the medal and measures 25.55 mm in width.
The award is in great condition with crisp details and problem free enamels. There are few minor contact marks only and they are barely noticeable with the naked eye. Its connection ring between the suspension and the medallion has not been cut and the stickpin is fully functional. There have been no repairs and the gold star is no replacement.
