Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945

Variation 1b with a separately soldiered eyelet and the word ‘войне’ on its reverse further apart from the curved text ‘Германией’

Made of brass. Measures 32.22 mm in width, 37.44 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.0 grams without its suspension. 

This medal is in superb condition with minor wear on both sides. Most of the original luster is still present and its details are still perfectly visible. Its double layer suspension is time period to the medal.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who were on active service during The Great Patriotic War (Military service of 3 months or civil service of 6 months). Also awarded to some allied forces such as the post 9 September 1944 Bulgarian Armed Forces.
