Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade
Variation 2 with an U-shaped Eyelet
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.14 mm in width, 37.18 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 16.4 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice condition with medium overall wear and some gold plating still present. Part of the details of the higher laying parts on it obverse like the wreath surrounding the edges have worn off but most are still visible. The reverse shows less wear with few dings and scratches and all details crisp. The medal comes with a time period double layer suspension and old ribbon.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Belgrade between 29 September and 22 October 1944.
