Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The order weighs 26.3 grams without its screwplate and measures 44.21 mm in width and 45.50 mm in height.
In great condition with its details crisp and most gold plating on the lettering and edges still present. The red and white enamels are problem free without repairs and show some small dings and scratches only. It comes with its time period screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.
Brief description of his feat of arms or achievements:
Private BUBNOV D.V. has been serving in the Red Army since 1941. He is a disciplined and reliable soldier, well mastered sapper skills. In the mine clearing operation on the road near the settlement Holasovice, private BUBNOV disarmed 30 anti-tank mine and thus enabled save passage of our artillery. Operating boat type A-3 during the forced crossing of the river Opava, he ferried 500 troops, 4 heavy machine-gun crews, 2 battalion mortar crews, while operating under intensive enemy fire. Private BUBNOV deserves to be bestowed with medal “FOR BRAVERY”.
