Medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.31 mm in width and 37.09 mm in height including the eyelet. It weighs 17.4 gram.
In good overall condition. All details are still visible and a good amount of gold plating on its obverse is still present. Its reverse shows some dark spots but is otherwise problem free. The brass suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
