Medal for the Defense of Moscow variation 1
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.31 mm in diameter, 37.35 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.3 grams without its suspension.
In nice overall condition with most details still visible. Most gold plating is worn off but some of it is still visible, most noticeably around the lettering of its reverse. Its aluminum suspension is post war and its connection ring has not been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defence of Moscow between 19 October 1941 and 25 January 1942.
