Awarded Guards Senior Sergeant Petr Egorovich Golyaeva (Петр Егорович Голяев)

For destroying 2 machine guns, 30 enemy troops, a Ferdinand type self-propelled gun and for fighting off 4 enemy attacks near Königsberg

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 45.99 mm in width, 48.19 mm in height and weighs 21.4 grams without its suspension. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.

This original order is in excellent, well above average condition with most gold plating present although some is covered by patina. The red enamels are beautiful and problem free without any chipping or flaking. The higher laying parts of its obverse show almost no wear and all details like the dials on the clock are still visible and crisp. The order comes with its time period double layer steel suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.

Scarce award with excellent research and hard to upgrade in this condition!
