Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The order weighs 28.0 gram without its screwplate and measures 43.96 mm in width and 45.98 mm in height.
This original order of the Patriotic War is in excellent condition with all details crisp. The red and white enamels are problem free and show some minor contact marks and dings only. There have been no repairs and its screw is full length. The order comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate.
Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:
Comrade DMITRACHENKO is the Patriotic war veteran and fought as the aide of the 1st platoon commander during 28.06.1941 – 29.08.1941 on the Southern front, [blank] army, 800 separate assault rifle regiment [correct: 898 rifle regiment], 3rd battalion, 2nd rifle company. In the offensive on he town Trubchevsk (Sumy region) on 29.08.1941, he sustained as severe wound: through and through wound of the right ankle with damage to the bone. Reference: Evacuation hospital №4921 on 03.02.1943. For the second time, he served in the front line troops as the 1st rifle company commander on 2 Baltic front, 10 army, 7 rifle division, 26 Guards rifle regiment, 2nd battalion during the period 07-24 July 1944. In the offensive on the town Rēzekne (Latvia) on 24.07.1944, he was wounded and sustained a severe bullet wound of the right hand with damage to the bones. Reference: Evacuation hospital №1743 on 23.10.1944. At present, comrade DMITRICHENKO is a war disabled of the 2nd category and works at the Dubrovno district Communist party office. He is a diligent, disciplined, and reliable worker. As an active veteran of the Patriotic war, he deserves to be bestowed with order “RED BANNER”.
