Order of the Red Star #2710048
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.32 mm in width, 47.12 mm in height and weighs 31.9 grams. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
In great condition with light overall wear and most details still visible. The red enamels are without problems and free from chipping or flaking. Both sided show a light toning to the silver and its screw has not been shortened.
Probably awarded in the summer of ’45. Nice research potential.
The Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
