Soviet Medal for Combat Merit #629060
Made of solid silver and lacquer. Measures 32.14 mm in diameter and 2.34 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.02 mm including the eyelet and it weighs 18.3 grams without its suspension.
In decent condition with medium to strong wear to the higher laying parts. There are several small dings and scratches but most of the original red lacquer is still present. Its connection ring has been cut and the medal comes with its time period double layer suspension.

This military medal awarded for “combat action resulting in a military success”; “courageous defence of the state borders”; or “successful military and political training and preparation”. Also awarded for 10 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
