Brief and specific description of the personal feat or merits:
Defending the Socialist Motherland in the sector of 76 rifle corps, he distinguished himself on the night 21-22 July 1944 during the construction of a bridge over the river Western Bug near the settlement Mlynska. Comrade SOLOVIEV was working on setting up bridge pillars. Working under intensive enemy artillery and mortar barrage of the construction site, comrade SOLOVIEV sustained a wound. He refused to depart to the battalion medical point, but had his wound dressed and returned back to setting up the bridge pillars.
I recommend him to be bestowed with order “GLORY III CLASS”.
