Documented Group of Soviet Awards: Order of Lenin, Red Banner and Red Star
Awarded to Major Maxim Georgievich Bolshakov (Максим Георгиевич Большаков)
The group consists of the following items:
Order of Lenin #294267
Made of solid gold, platinum and enamels. Measures 44.47 mm in height including its eyelet, 38.05 mm in width and weighs 32.9 grams without its suspension. The mint mark and the serial number are located at its reverse.
This original order is in nice overall condition with crisp details. Even the higher laying parts of Lenin’s face show almost no wear. The enamels are mostly present and without noticeable dings and scratches apart from the end of the red banner at the 3 o’clock position. This part has been repaired with epoxy and was done quite nicely. The double layer suspension is time period to the order and its connection ring has not been cut.
Order of the Red Banner #350334
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 44.68 mm in height, 37.39 mm in width and weighs 24.5 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor in two lines and the serial number are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
In pristine condition with perfect enamels. The higher laying parts such as the center wreath and the torch still show all their details. Virtually all gold plating is still present and its reverse shows an appealing medium patina. There have been no repairs its connection ring has been cut.
Order of the Red Star #1023253
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.12 mm in height, 50.14 mm in width and weighs 31.6 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor is located above and the serial number below the screwpost.
Also in pristine, near mint condition with perfect red enamels without chipping or flaking. The higher laying central part portraying the solder shows all its details and the order comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate.
Order booklet
The order booklet is in great condition with all pages firmly attached to the cover. It mentions all awards above only and is numbered #208648.
