Medal for the Defense of Leningrad variation 1
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.12 mm in width, 37.64 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with its details still visible and a fair amount of gold plating still present. The double layer suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.Â
