Medal for the Defense of the Caucasus
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of gold plated brass. The medal measures 32.18 mm in diameter, 37.15 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.7 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice condition with most details present and light to medium overall wear. Much of the gold plating has been worn off on both sides and there are several small dings and scratches. The medal comes with its old steel suspension and its connection ting has not been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of the Caucasus region during WW2 between July 1942 and 9 October 1943.Â
