Medal for the Defense of Leningrad variation 1

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.10 mm in width, 37.54 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.

In excellent condition with crisp details and most gold plating still present. The double layer suspension and its ribbon are time period to the medal and the it shows a beautiful luster.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
