Soviet Medal for the Defense of Moscow variation 1
Awarded to Lt. Vyacheslav Minovich Kanygin (Вячеслав Минович Каныгин)
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.22 mm in diameter, 37.35 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.2 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition with most details visible and light to medium overall wear. Both sides show several small dings and scratches but not distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has not been cut.
Its accompanying document is in worn but decent condition and is dated 17 March 1945 and numbered Э 012192
