Medal for Sino-Soviet Friendship

This medal for Sino-Soviet Friendship is made of gold plated brass and enamels. It measures 46.08 in height, 39.32 mm in width and it weighs 18.3 gram. On the obverse the national flags of the USSR and China are portrayed and the motto “Long Live Sino Soviet Friendship”.

The medal is in nice condition. All details are crisp and the gold plating is mostly present. The red enamel is chipped around the edges but in overall good condition. 

Established in 1951; the Sino Soviet Friendship Medal was issued to Soviet military and civilian personnel; helping the Chinese during and after the Korean War.
