Medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.22 mm in width and 37.36 mm in height including the eyelet. It weighs 17.4 gram.
In decent condition with its details crisp and a fair amount of gold plating still present. There are relatively few dings and scratches but both sides show some corrosion spots. The brass suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
