Awarded to the Uzbek quad leader of NKVD troops Sergeant Merrkhim Rizamukhamedov (Меррьхим Ризамухамедов)
For personally capturing and disarming 19 bandits [of the Forest Brothers] and being seriously wounded
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 45.74 mm in width, 48.25 mm in height and weighs 24.3 gram without its suspension. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.
This order is in excellent, above average condition with most details visible and an appealing dark patina on both sides. The enamel on both the banner and star is fully present and without repairs. Its connection ring has not been cut and it comes with its time period double layer suspension.
The order comes with its award booklet with all pages present and firmly attached. The booklet is numbered Б 105942. This Order of Glory is the only award mentioned so technically this is a complete award group.

“Squad leader of the frontier regiment of the NKVD troops of the 31rd Army, 3rd Belorussian Front
Machine gunner RIZAMUKHAMEDOV, participating in operations to eliminate gangs in the Lithuanian SSR during 1944-45, personally captured and disarmed 19 bandits. On March 27, 1945, when a combat assignment was carried out, he was seriously wounded.
