Soviet Medal for Impeccable Service 1st class in the KGB (20 years service)
Early solid silver variation
Made of silver and enamels. The medal measures 32.20 mm in diameter, 37.19 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 20.6 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in great condition with all details crisp and a very appealing patina to the silver. The red enamels are absolutely stunning and show a minor scratch at the right side of the hammer and sickle only, barely visible with the naked eye. It comes with its time period aluminium suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
The Medal “For Impeccable Service” (Russian; Медаль «За безупречную службу») was a Soviet military award for long service.
