Soviet medal for the Capture of Vienna 

Variation 2 (U-shaped eyelet)

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.09 mm in width, 36.91 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.1 gram without its suspension. 

This medal is in great condition with crisp details and a fair amount of gold plating present. It comes with its time period brass suspension and old ribbon.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Vienna between 16 March and 13 April 1945.
