Medal for the Defense of Leningrad variation 1
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.08 mm in width, 37.86 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.4 gram without its suspension.
This Defense of Leningrad medal is in excellent condition with its details still visible and much gold plating present. The double layer suspension and its ribbon are time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
