Soviet Medal for the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Lenin to Foreigners
Medal awarded for the 100th anniversary of Lenin to foreigners. Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width, 37.16 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 18.7 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in superb condition with all details crisp and full gold plating present. Both sides show few dings and contact marks only and there have been no repairs. The suspension and ribbon are also in excellent condition and its stickpin is fully functional.
This scarce award was awarded to non Soviet Communist leaders and foreign WW2 veterans who attended the 100th anniversary in Moscow. According to recently published Soviet archival records a little over 4000 of these were issued.
