Description
Activist of OKDVA, OSOAVIAKHIM badge (1930s)
Made of brass and enamels. The badge measures 41.54 mm in height and 32.44 mm in width and weighs 14.2 gram without its screwplate.
The badge is in a nice, above average condition with crisp details and light wear to the brass base only. The enamels show some damage on the red star and red banner but there have been no repairs and over half of it is still present. A fair amount of silver plating is still visible which is unusual for these badges. The badge includes its original and well fitted Fabmass Factory screwplate and its screw is shortened a bit which was customary with these badges.
Nice early soviet piece. Not easy to find
Awarded to the servicemen of the Order of the Red Banner Far Eastern Special Army (OKDVA) who participated in the 1929 campaign against ManchuriaÂ
