Soviet medal for the Capture of Königsberg
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet to the medal
Made out of gilded brass. Measures 32.18 mm in width, 37.81 mm in height and 17.0 gram in weight without its suspension.
In nice condition with most details visible although there are several small dings and scratches on both sides. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension and much gold plating is still present.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Königsberg between 23 January and 10 April 1945.
