Early scarce variation made of solid silver
Made of solid silver. It measures 32.08 mm in width and 2.95 in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.05 mm including its eyelet and it weighs 21.6 gram without its suspension.
The medal for Distinction in the Protection of Public Order is in excellent condition with crisp details and beautiful dark toning. It shows almost no wear and even the details at the higher laying parts are perfectly visible. The medal comes with its old brass suspension and old ribbon.
Scarce and difficult to find in solid silver!
Awarded to members of the MVD for preserving public order; to all service personnel of the militsiya for courage shown during the liquidation of criminal groups and arrest of criminal; or for excellence in organizing and coordinating militia in combating crime or for selfless acts during the prevention of hooliganism/ alcoholism/ theft.
