For destroying tens of thousands of tons of cargo when sailing from Vladivostok in the S-55 submarine

Made of solid silver and gold. The medal measures 43.45 mm in width, 47.90 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 27.6 gram without its suspension. The suspension measures 32.36 mm in width at its widest point and 21.31 mm in height at its narrowest part (without eyelet). The minimum known number of this variation is 12655 and the maximum known number is 32653.
This order is in a nice, worn condition. Its details are all crisp and even the higher laying parts like the hammer and sickle show light to medium wear only. The white enamels are problem free and without repairs. The red enamels are mostly present and original but 2 of the 5 arms are repaired (12 and 5 o’clock rays). The reverse shows less wear with beautiful details and medium dark patina. The suspension and screwplate belong to the order and are original but the rectangular plate holding the ribbon is missing. Its connection ring has not been cut.
