Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.08 mm in width, 37.57 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.1 gram without its suspension.

This Defense of Leningrad medal is in pristine condition with perfect details and all gold plating still present. The double layer suspension and its ribbon are time period to the medal and the medal shows a beautiful shine.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
