Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945

Variation 1a with a separately soldiered eyelet and the word ‘войне’ on its reverse closer to the curved text ‘Германией’

Medal for the Victory over Germany: made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.25 mm in width, 37.24 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.0 gram. 

This medal is in excellent condition with all details visible and full gold plating. The double layer suspension is time period to the medal.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who were on active service during The Great Patriotic War (Military service of 3 months or civil service of 6 months). Also awarded to some allied forces such as the post 9 September 1944 Bulgarian Armed Forces.
