Soviet Medal for Labor Valor #44711
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 34.10 mm in diameter, 39.05 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 22.7 gram without its suspension. The reverse shows the engraved letter ‘D’ followed by the serial number ‘44711’.
This medal for Labor Valor is in excellent condition with crsip details. There are few dings and scratches on either side and the enamel is problem free without repairs. The medal comes with a time period aluminium suspension.
Duplicates were (rarely) given to awardees who lost their award due to exceptional circumstances beyond their control like combat or natural disasters. These awards are much more scarce than the ‘regular’ awards.
Awarded to laborers who dedicated themselves towards the building of a socialist society.Â
