Soviet RKKA Excellent Shooting Badge #123626 (1938-1941)
This RKKA Excellent Shooting Badge is made of silver plated brass and enamels. The main medallion measures 45.43 mm in height and 36.28 mm in width. The total weight of the badge including its chain and suspension is 16.0 gram (screwplate not included). The mint mark mon dvor is located at the center of the reverse and the serial number #123626 can be found on its screwplate.
The badge is in excellent, well above average condition. The red, black and white enamels are extremely well preserved without dings, scratches or flaking and almost all of the silver plating is present. The badge includes its original functional pin, chain and suspenion. The screw appears to be resoldered on to the small suspension some point in time. The production of the badge stopped immediately after the German invasion of the Soviet Union and therefore few original examples survived.
All complete and hard to upgrade. Scarce as such
