Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.14 mm in width,Ā 37.26 mm in height (including the eyelet) and weighs 17.6 gram without its suspension.Ā
This medal is in excellent condition with light wear on its obverse and its details crisp. Its reverse has several dings and small scratches but nothing distracting from its overall appeal. The medal shows an attractive patina and comes with its time period brass suspension. Its connection ring has not been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
