Awarded to lt. Colonel Alexey Vladimirovich Shchekochikin (Алексей Владимирович Щекочихин) for long service
Order of the Red Banner 2nd award: Made of silver and enamels. Measures 36.31 mm in width and 44.89 mm in height and weighs 23.2 gram without its suspension. The mint mark is located above the serial number in two straight lines.
This original order is in excellent condition with all details crisp. The red enamel on the banners is flawless and the enamel on the center red star has a superficial flake on the 6 o’clock ray only, barely noticeable with the naked eye. The order shows an appealing dark patina on both sides and its connection ring has not been cut. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the order and there have been no repairs.
