Medal for the Defense of the Polar Region variation 1 (WW2)

Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.14 mm in width, 37.20 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.1 gram without its suspension.

This medal is in great condition with crisp details. Even the higher laying parts show almost no wear. Most of the gold plating is still present and the double layer suspension and the faded ribbon is time period to the medal.
